How good was Groovin The Moo. It was bloody great. I think it's safe to say that we'll be back next year for more. The train ride from Newcastle to Maitland was interesting. Under age boozers everywhere. Apparently we were one of the oldest, at least we were on the train in. There was a "hotel" section that only 18 and over were allowed in but they were only selling mid-strength drinks. I think there was more alcohol and drugs in the all ages section. As you would expect they were not mid priced.
There were so many great bands but the highlight for Narn and me was the Birds Of Tokyo with Gyroscope and Jezabels coming a close second.Nichayla's hightlight was definately Bliss N Eso, both the set and getting her shirt being signed. Jo really enjoyed Cut Copy and was surprised how many songs of theirs she knew.
All in all, a huge day out for all of us.
